Job Full Description
Express Employment has partnered with a local Boone, IA company that is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join their team! The main responsibility for this position will be to operate machines in the molding department.
This is a great long-term, full-time position starting at $18/hr! The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of prior machine operating experience.
Environment:
- This is a 3rd shift schedule, Sunday-Friday 11:30pm-8:00am
- Casual clothes are preferred, steel toed boots are REQUIRED.
- In this manufacturing environment, you will work as a team to ensure quality products are provided for consumers
Duties:
- Operating machines (hand loaded and machine loaded) in the molding department
- Spot Checks and Quality Control on products
- Mixing resin and fixing fiberglass ribbon on pultrusion department to make fiberglass rods
- Rotating throughout various departments to assist with production
Skills/Experience Needed:
- Must be willing to stand for long periods of time
- Must have prior hands on operating experience
- Have to be comfortable with strong smelling odors and fiberglass
