Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a local Boone, IA company seeking an experienced Machine Operator! The main responsibility for this position will be to operate manufacturing machines.
This is a great long-term, full-time position with career potential! The pay-rate for this position is $18/hr on an evening shift schedule. The ideal candidate for this role will have at least two years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Environment:
- This is a 2nd shift schedule, Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm
- In this manufacturing environment, you will work as a team to ensure quality products are provided for consumers
- Casual clothes are preferred and steel-toed boots are REQUIRED!
Duties:
- Attending to/operating machines that shape and create company product
- Performing quality checks to ensure product is free of any deficiencies
- Weighing and packaging product; boxing, labeling, sealing
- Stacking boxes on pallets
Skills/Experience Needed:
- Must have prior hands-on machine operating experience
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8 hours)
- Have to be comfortable with strong smelling odors and fiberglass
