Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a local Ames, IA company that's seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to join their team! The main responsibility of this associate will be to stage items in the shipping department.
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with a pay rate starting at $21.75/hr, dependent on experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of prior forklift experience.
Environment:
- This is a 1st shift 6:45am-7:00pm schedule, 4 days on and 4 days off
- As a leading fabrication company, they are committed to producing quality packaging for customers globally
- Steel toed boots are required in this environment
Duties:
- Operating forklift to gather product during production.
- Preparing pallets and staging for shipping.
- Entering information on computer.
Skills/Experience Required:
- Prior experience in a warehouse setting and with a sit-down forklift.
- Knowledge of and ability to follow established safety procedures and practices.
