Express Employment is a staffing company that is partnered with a local Gilbert, IA company seeking an additional Laborer/Equipment Operator! The main responsibility for this position will be to operate small heavy equipment throughout various job sites.
This position is a full-time and long-term opportunity. This position starts at $20/HR, based on experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of prior heavy equipment operating experience!
Environment:
- This is a 1st shift schedule, Monday-Friday 6-7:00am-5:00pm
- As a locally owned construction company, this candidate needs to be team-oriented and comfortable working with a small crew
- Need to be comfortable working in various weather conditions
Laborer Duties Include:
- Traveling to job sites.
- Manually shovel rock, dirt or sand.
- Cutting pipe, maneuver concrete pipe, and working outside.
- Operating small heavy equipment and carrying materials including bags of concrete, lumber, plastic pipe, etc.
Laborer Skills/Experience:
- Valid Driver License
- Prior experience operating heavy equipment.
- Comfortable with physical work and heavy lifting. (10 hour days!)
