Job Full Description
Express Employment is a staffing company that has partnered with a local Story City, IA area company seeking additional Manufacturing Associates to join their team! This is a full-time, long-term position. Starting pay rate is $20/hr, dependent on experience! The ideal candidate for this role will have prior manufacturing and/or welding experience.
Environment:
- This is a 1st shift schedule, Monday-Friday 5:00am-3:30pm with overtime available!
- This is a manufacturing environment, must be comfortable taking on multiple roles throughout the plant
- Casual clothes are preferred with closed toed shoes
Duties:
- Complete metal fabrication of parts for assembly of final products.
- Operating of machinery, electric power tools, pneumatic and air powered tools in production process.
- Welding aluminum, mild steel and stainless steel.
- Read and follow engineering prints and directions for operating procedures to produce dimensionally correct and structurally sound products.
- Perform tasks directed by supervisor.
Skills/Experience Needed:
- Knowledge of and ability to follow established safety procedures and practices.
- Must be able to operate power and pneumatic tools.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Able to read a tape measure.
- At least 2 years of welding/manufacturing experience is REQUIRED!
