Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a local Ames manufacturing company seeking additional Testing Technicians! This position starts at $17/hr and is is a full-time, long-term position.
Environment:
- This is a 1st shift schedule, Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
- Casual clothes are preferred, will be working in a warehouse environment
Duties:
- Visually inspect incoming materials for holes, cracks, or other imperfections
- Conduct high voltage testing of new and used linemen's gloves, sleeves, and blankets to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Stamp/ Apply inspection labels
- Checking electrician and lineman materials for testing
Skills/Experience Required:
- Must be detail-oriented and comfortable working with numbers
- MUST have prior quality control experience
- Prior manufacturing experience is preferred!
