Job Full Description
Express Employment is a staffing agency that has partnered with a local Boone, IA company seeking a Logistics Technician! The ideal candidate for this role will have prior manufacturing/production experience. (At least 2 years!)
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity. This position starts at $20/HR, based on experience.
Environment:
- This is a food-grade facility in a manufacturing environment
- With this position, you will need steel-toed boots and casual attire
- This is a Monday-Friday 1st shift schedule, 8am-5/6pm
Duties:
- Loading/unloading trucks, railcars, and totes
- Climb and work at elevation onto semi-tractor trailers and railcars
- Document shipping/receiving logs
Skills/Experience Needed:
- The ideal candidate should have prior forklift experience
- Good documentation and reading, writing, and math skills
- Knowledge of and ability to follow established safety procedures and practices.
