Job Full Description
Express Employment is a staffing company that has partnered with a local Story City, IA area company seeking additional CNC Machine Operators to join their team! This is a full-time, long-term position. Starting pay rate is $22.50/hr, dependent on experience! The ideal candidate for this role will have great attention to detail and will be team-oriented.
Environment:
- This is a 2nd shift schedule, Monday-Friday 3:15pm-2:45am with overtime available!
- This is a manufacturing environment, must be comfortable taking on multiple roles throughout the plant
- Casual clothes are preferred with steel toed shoes/boots
Duties:
- Load and unload parts
- Perform inspections of parts
- Tool and machine set up
- Operation of CNC machine equipment
Skills/Experience Needed:
- Knowledge of and ability to follow established safety procedures and practices.
- MUST have prior CNC machine operating experience!
- Must be able to read a tape measure and use hand/measuring tools
- Familiarity with computer operations
