Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a Webster City, IA company that is seeking an experienced Packaging Technician! This is a full-time, evaluation to hire opportunity with a pay rate starting at $20/hr!
The ideal candidate for this role should have prior production experience and must be comfortable rotating throughout the warehouse.
Environment:
- This is a 1st shift schedule, Monday-Friday 5:00am - 3:00pm with some overtime available
- Casual clothing is preferred in this environment. Additional PPE will be provided
- Candidate must be comfortable working in a dirty industrial environment, warehouse is not temperature-controlled
Duties:
- Packaging pans of brass fittings
- Lifting pans off the assembly line and packing into boxes
- Lifting boxes onto pallets for shipping
- Re-packing materials in returnable containers
Skills/Experience Needed:
- Previous experience in production or manufacturing environments preferred
- Ability to handle physical workload, lifting up to 50lbs
- Prior forklift experience is preferred!
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
