Position Title – Logistics & Delivery Specialist
Exciting Opportunity for a Logistics & Delivery Specialist in Olathe, KS!
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Logistics & Delivery Specialist to join our team in Olathe, KS. This hands-on position focuses primarily on loading and unloading trucks at both the warehouse and customer residences, with occasional local driving of a box truck. Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 4:00 pm
Position Summary:
As a Logistics & Delivery Specialist, your primary responsibility will be loading and unloading materials, both in the warehouse and at residential customer sites. You will operate a box truck for local deliveries and must ensure materials are handled safely, efficiently, and respectfully in customer-facing situations.
Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:

Load and unload trucks at the warehouse and at customer residences.

Safely operate a box truck to transport goods locally.

Ensure accuracy and care in the delivery and placement of materials.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and warehouse.

Assist with basic warehouse tasks when not on delivery runs.

Provide professional and courteous service to customers at delivery sites.

Follow all company safety procedures and driving regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
-
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
-
Valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required.

Previous experience in delivery driving and/or warehouse operations preferred.

Ability to lift and carry heavy materials regularly (up to 75 lbs.).

Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Ability to safely load, secure, and unload materials.

Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Ability to follow delivery schedules and adapt to changing priorities.

Comfortable with physical labor throughout the day.

Basic knowledge of warehouse processes and safety standards.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires regular lifting, bending, carrying, and walking. The role is physically demanding and involves work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Internal and External Interaction:
This position involves regular communication with warehouse staff, management, and customers. Professionalism and clear communication are essential.
