1st Shift – Experienced Sit-Down Forklift Driver
Join Our Team in Gardner, KS!
Are you an experienced forklift driver with a strong focus on safety and reliability? If you have a proven track record of operating sit-down forklifts with precision and efficiency, we want to hear from you!
Location: Gardner, KS
Pay: $780 per week ($19.50 per hour, 40 hours per week)
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Job Overview:
As an Experienced Sit-Down Forklift Driver, you will play a critical role in our warehouse operations by safely and efficiently handling the movement of motorcycles, ATVs, and other items using sit-down forklifts with 10" fork extensions. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will ensure the smooth flow of materials throughout our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate sit-down forklifts with 10" fork extensions to move motorcycles, ATVs, and other items.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload trucks and trailers with precision and care.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management tasks as needed, including cycle counting and stock rotation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Computer Skills: Comfortably navigate computer systems to access inventory and track shipments.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Safety Focus: Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols at all times.
- Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a consistent attendance record.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately follow instructions and maintain precision in forklift operation.
- Computer Skills: Comfortable using computers to access inventory systems and track shipments.
