Material Handler/Forklift 1st Shift (Sit-down/Cherry Picker/Turret) CERTIFIED
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join our team. This position requires flexibility, as the role will involve both material handling tasks (picking, packing, shipping) and forklift operation. Candidates must be able to operate at least two of the following forklifts: sit down, cherry picker, or turret. This is not an all-the-time forklift position — candidates will be expected to perform a mix of material handling and forklift work as needed.

Pay: $16.75 per hour
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Position Summary:
The Material Handler / Forklift Operator is responsible for supporting warehouse operations by performing a variety of material handling duties and safely operating forklifts. This includes picking and packing orders, preparing shipments, and moving freight. Candidates must have recent forklift certification and the ability to adapt to a role that requires both physical labor and equipment operation.
Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:

Perform material handling tasks including picking, packing, and shipping.

Safely operate at least two of the following forklifts: sit down, cherry picker, or turret.

Move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.

Verify, stage, and prepare materials for shipment.

Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
-
Must be forklift certified within the last 3 years.

Ability to operate at least two of the following: sit down, cherry picker, or turret.

Previous warehouse and material handling experience.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical labor throughout the shift.

Dependability and strong work ethic required.

Willingness to split time between forklift operation and material handling.
