Human Resources Generalist (Part-Time) We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Human Resources Generalist to support our distribution center operations. This part-time role focuses on recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and ensuring HR policy compliance within a fast-paced logistics environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple HR functions with minimal supervision. Location: Olathe, KSEmployment Type: Part-time (6-month contract)Work Conditions: Office / Distribution Center EnvironmentPay: $20.00 per hourWork Hours: Monday – Friday, 12:00pm – 5:00pm Position Summary:The HR Generalist supports the daily human resource operations of the distribution center by executing core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. This role plays a key part in maintaining a positive and productive work environment and supporting business goals through effective people management. Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities: Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes for hourly and salaried positions. Partner with operations to identify staffing needs and ensure smooth new hire integration. Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, handling concerns with professionalism and confidentiality. Support supervisors in coaching and performance management initiatives. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, OSHA, etc.). Maintain accurate employee records and assist with HR audits as needed. Promote a positive workplace culture through communication and engagement efforts. Track and report HR metrics, including attendance, turnover, and employee engagement. Support policy administration and training programs. Perform additional HR-related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). 3+ years of HR experience, ideally in distribution, manufacturing, or logistics. Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems. Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with discretion. Preferred Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Experience with Kronos and/or Workday systems preferred. ??
