As an Inventory Manager/Crib Attendant, you will play a critical role in managing, organizing, and safeguarding our substantial inventory. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring that our inventory is readily accessible to support the needs of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory, which includes items valued at over $100,000, and ensure that it is properly organized and stored for easy access.
- Cycle Counts: Regularly perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Inventory Tracking: Maintain accurate records of all inventory items, including stock levels, replenishment needs, and consumption rates.
- Receiving and Disbursement: Manage the receipt and issuance of inventory items, tracking the flow of goods and materials efficiently.
- Safety and Security: Implement safety measures and security protocols to protect the inventory from loss, damage, or theft.
- Ordering and Replenishment: Monitor stock levels and initiate orders for replenishment when necessary to ensure that the inventory levels remain within set parameters.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of inventory transactions, including purchase orders, receipts, and issuance records.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on inventory levels, consumption rates, and discrepancies, providing insights to optimize inventory management.
- Supplier Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely deliveries and quality assurance.
- Inventory Software: Utilize inventory management software and systems to streamline and automate inventory tracking and reporting.
