Job Full Description
This position requires a detail-oriented and dependable representative who supports our sales, order entry, and customer check-in processes. This hybrid role requires both administrative skills and direct involvement in processing incoming customer products. The representative will be organized, initiative-taking, and capable of maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment while providing outstanding service to both internal teams and customers. This position reports to the Inside Sales/Order Entry/Check-in Manager and collaborates with a team of support personnel that share these duties.
The job is an hourly, on-site position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting sales, order entry and check-in in the capacity needed at any given time will dictate the primary responsibilities of this position. These responsibilities will include:
- Enter data from check-in forms to generate quotes or work orders.
- Coordinate pricing inquiries and communicate with vendors.
- Collaborate with production, sales, and management to ensure accurate and timely order processing.
- Maintain communication with customers regarding quotes, orders, and requests.
- Digitally archive documentation and scan files to work tickets.
- Generate purchase orders and track outside processing status when necessary.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read and use measuring tools (e.g., tape measure, micrometer, pi tape).
- Capable of interpreting technical/CAD drawings.
- Proven data entry and typing skills with high accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Pass drug screening.
