Key Responsibilities

• Operate and program robotic welding systems to automate welding tasks and optimize production efficiency 
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of robotic welders to ensure peak performance and prevent downtime 
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues, including mechanical, electrical, and software-related problems 
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to ensure accurate placement and weld quality
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize weld parameters and robotic programming 
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards to protect personnel and equipment
• Train other staff on the operation and maintenance of robotic welding systems when required 

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Technical expertise in robotics and automated welding systems, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques 
• Proficiency in programming languages such as PLC and familiarity with robotic control software 
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to quickly resolve mechanical or programming issues
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications accurately 
• Attention to detail and precision, essential for high-quality welds and consistent production output 
• Physical stamina to work in demanding environments, including standing for long periods and handling repetitive tasks
