Job Full Description
Job Summary: The HVAC Certified Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service abilities.
Pay: $18.00- $22.00
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, identifying and resolving problems efficiently.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- System Upgrades: Recommend and implement upgrades and improvements to HVAC systems to enhance energy efficiency and performance.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and questions, and ensuring satisfaction with HVAC services.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and perform repairs as needed.
- Inventory Management: Manage and order inventory of HVAC supplies and parts to ensure availability for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with property management staff and other maintenance technicians to coordinate and complete tasks.
Qualifications:
- HVAC certification from an accredited institution.
- Valid HVAC technician license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
