Job Full Description
We are seeking a dependable and safety-minded Forklift Operator to join our team in a local metal fabrication shop. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of metal materials, parts, and products throughout the facility. The ideal candidate has experience operating forklifts in an industrial setting and is committed to maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts to move steel, aluminum, and other metal components throughout the shop and yard

Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers

Deliver raw materials and components to workstations based on production needs

Stage materials for job orders and organize according to the production schedule

Perform daily safety checks and basic maintenance on forklift equipment

Assist in maintaining inventory organization and tracking

Follow all company safety rules, including proper use of PPE and safe material handling procedures
