Service Clerk – Baton Rouge
EVALUATION HIRE
$17-20/ hr
Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for a Service Clerk for a local equipment servicing company in East Baton Rouge. This client is looking for someone familiar with purchasing, parts inventory, industrial equipment, and QuickBooks.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Service Clerk:
- Review purchase orders and vendor receipts for accuracy.

Enter vendor receipts and corresponding vendor bills into QuickBooks.

Maintain and update a tracking spreadsheet daily as orders are received.

Review customer invoices for accuracy, including proper sales tax application.

Forward finalized invoices to customers promptly.

Maintain high attention to detail, as this is a critical and high-priority function.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Familiarity with purchasing processes and parts inventory management.

Experience in the industrial equipment industry is a strong plus.

Working knowledge of QuickBooks is required.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for daily spreadsheet updates.
