Test Bed Operator – Baton Rouge
EVALUATION HIRE
$15-18/hr+
Monday – Thursday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, Fridays 7:30 am - 4 pm.
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Test Bed Operator for a local client in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Qualified candidates must have extensive experience in Rigging and Rigging equipment, and the ability to perform basic mathematics and computer literacy.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Test Bed Operator:

Operate hydraulic test bed equipment to conduct proof load testing on slings, chains, wire rope, shackles, and other rigging products.

Accurately record test results and generate test certificates.

Inspect and identify product defects or irregularities before and after testing.

Maintain test equipment and ensure it is calibrated and functioning properly.

Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.

Assist with receiving, tagging, and organizing materials and customer items for testing.

Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

High school diploma or GED required.

Mechanical aptitude and experience with industrial equipment preferred.

Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety guidelines, and technical documents.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.

Forklift experience or certification is a plus.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse/shop environment.
