Shop and Assembly Helper
Evaluation Hire
$14/hr
Monday – Thursday 6 am – 4:30 pm (subject to change)
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is hiring a Shop and Assembly helper for a fabrication shop in East Feliciana Parish. This position involves hands-on work assembling chain components, maintaining a clean and organized shop environment, and operating a forklift as needed. Ideal candidates are dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work well in a fast-paced industrial setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assemble chains and related components with accuracy and attention to detail

Lift and move materials and products up to 20 lbs continuously throughout the shift

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shop area

Assist with general shop duties as needed

Safely operate a forklift to move materials when required
Physical Demands:
-
Ability to lift 20 lbs repeatedly throughout the workday

Willingness to perform physical labor and stay active on your feet

Basic mechanical aptitude or assembly experience preferred

Forklift experience is a plus (or willingness to be trained)

Strong work ethic and a team-first attitude
