Payroll Clerk – Baton Rouge

Full Time

$18/hr

Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm

 

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for Payroll Clerk for a local car dealership in Baton Rouge. Company is looking for long term employees. 

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Payroll Clerk: 

  • Calculate and prepare employee wages based on hours worked or salary.
  • Ensure correct deductions for taxes, benefits, and other withholdings.
  • Process payroll on a regular schedule (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly).
  • Gathering and entering timecards in a timely manner.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Payroll experience 
  • Reliable, dependable and punctual.
  • Clerical experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
