Insurance Agent/Adjuster –Zachary, LA
Full-Time
$20-23/hr DOE
Mon-Fri 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for an Insurance Agent to take payments and client calls. The applicant must exude professionalism at all times. This position requires the candidate to have their adjuster license in Auto, Home and Commerical insurance. If you do not have your license, the client is still willing to consider if you have experience. Once licensed, there is a potential bump in pay above $20/hr. This client is a family-owned insurance company and they strive for a healthy, positive work environment. A preemployment background check will be conducted for this full-time position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Taking client calls
- Assessing/Preventing further damage to property
- Pay Claims fairly
- Assist with Recovery
- Inventory Damaged Property
- Maintain Reports and Claims
- Communicate professionally with all parties involved
- Data entry
- ONCE LICENSED/IF CANDIDATE IS LICENSED:
- Adjusting policies
- Discussing policies
- Quoting and selling policies
Qualities and Experience Required:
- Property, Auto and Commercial license
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft:
- Ability to multitask
- High school diploma
- License in Auto, Home and Commercial preferred
