CAD Designer – Port Allen
FULL-TIME
$25/Hr +
Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4 pm
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is seeking a CAD Designer for a local manufacturing company in Port Allen. The primary responsibility will be using AutoCAD for 2D drafting of various custom parts and components.
RESPONSIBILITIES :

Prepare and update 2D technical drawings, schematics, and plans using AutoCAD.

Translate design concepts, sketches, and specifications into detailed drawings.

Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and industry standards.

Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for current and future reference.

Assist with revisions and modifications as needed during project development.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting required; 3D experience a plus).
- Proficiency in SolidWorks is a plus.

Strong knowledge of drafting standards and technical drawing conventions.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
