Inside Sales Representative – Baton Rouge
LONG-TERM/EVALUATION HIRE
$21.35/hr - $24.23/hr DOE
Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently seeking an outgoing, team oriented and motivated Inside Sales Representative for a fast paced Industrial Distribution Company in East Baton Rouge. The primary responsibility will be to respond to phone, in person and email inquiries about price quotes, parts availability and order status. Must be able to interact with customers, clients and team members to process orders and quotations accurately. 1 year previous sales experience preferred. Punctuality and attentiveness is a MUST!
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Inside Sales Representative:
- Provide Professional service to clients and customers in person, on phone & through email.
- Respond to phone, and email inquiries about price quotes, parts availability, order status
- Willingness to learn system to handle quoting and order entry.
- Network with team members in a customer focused mindset
- Follow up with backorders and order errors with appropriate departments.
- Follow all safety and work rules as established with company.
- Other tasks may be needed
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening skills
- Good organizational skills, able to establish priorities and work to specific deadlines
- Attention to detail & time management
- Team Oriented
