Maintenance Mechanic
Direct Hire
$19 - 25/hr
Mon-Fri: 7:30 am – 4 pm
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic to handle a wide variety of preventative and general maintenance tasks across our facility. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and keeping operations running smoothly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities.

Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.

Handle electrical repairs and troubleshooting.

Perform basic plumbing tasks and repairs.

Conduct light welding, such as reinforcing shelves or stabilizing equipment.

Maintain and repair boilers.
-
Service and repair kitchen appliances.
-
Assist with HVAC systems (HVAC certification preferred).
-
Support fire suppression system maintenance (experience is a plus).

Execute make-ready tasks, including general repairs, painting, and upkeep.
Qualifications:

Strong electrical repair and maintenance experience (required).

Basic plumbing knowledge.

Welding experience (stick/tack welding).

Familiarity with boilers and/or commercial kitchen equipment.

HVAC certified (preferred but not required).

Ability to work on fire suppression systems (a plus).

General handyman/make-ready skills (painting, patching, light carpentry).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
