Apartment Maintenance Technician –Zachary, LA
Evaluation Hire
$18-23/hr
Mon-Fri: 8 AM - 5 PM
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for an Apartment Maintenance Technician for a local client in Zachary. This client is looking for a skilled, detailed maintenance make-ready technician to help with apartment maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform daily maintenance requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner.

Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections on all building systems.

Diagnose and repair issues involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general maintenance.

Prepare vacant units for new residents.

Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of common areas and grounds.

Assist with emergency maintenance as needed, including after-hours calls on a rotating schedule.

Ensure all work meets company standards and local safety codes.
Minimum Experience, Education, and Licensure:

Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.

HVAC certification a plus (EPA Universal preferred).

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
