Inventory Administrative Coordinator – Baton Rouge, LA
FULL-TIME
$17/hr
Monday – Thursday 7AM-3:45PM, Friday 7AM-2PM
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing and recruiting firm, is currently hiring a Logistics Administrative Assistant for a local Manufacturing company in Baton Rouge, LA. Candidate must be able to support operations team with inventory management, preparing paperwork for shipments, and order tracking. The ideal candidate will have experience in an industrial or warehouse setting and be comfortable coordinating logistics, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative operations.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare and edit reports, memos, letters, and other documents accurately

Maintain up-to-date inventory records and assist with tracking products

File and retrieve documents, records, and production reports as needed
-
Coordinate freight or shipping pickups
-
Keep detailed records of operations and assist with reports and internal communications

Communicate professionally with staff, vendors, and customers, both in person and by phone

Support multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Previous administrative experience in a manufacturing setting preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
- Strong ability to read, write, and interpret business documents and reports

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
