Warehouse Worker – Material Handling - Baton Rouge
Full-Time Evaluation Hire
Mon-Fri. 9am-5:30pm $16/hr
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently seeking an outgoing, team oriented and motivated Warehouse Associate for a local medical waste transportation service in East Baton Rouge. This role involves loading and unloading medical waste containers using manual handling equipment such as dollies and pallet jacks. The ideal candidate will follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload medical waste containers from trucks and storage areas.
- Operate dollies and pallet jacks to move materials within the warehouse.
- Keep work areas clean and organized to prevent hazards.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of basic safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Valid Drivers License
