Customer Service Representative – Baton Rouge
FULL-TIME
$17 / Hr.
Monday – Friday 8 am – 4:30 pm
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Customer Service Representative in East Baton Rouge. You will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, preparing accurate quotes, and ensuring a seamless experience from initial contact through retention. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing clear and professional assistance.
- Prepare accurate quotes, follow up with customers, and ensure timely responses to drive conversions.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to maintain long-term relationships and support repeat business.
- Perform data entry, maintain accurate records, and manage internal systems to ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct light research to resolve customer questions and provide informed solutions.
- Work closely with internal teams (sales, operations, and support) to meet customer needs and deadlines.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Strong phone communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and manage multiple tasks.
- Friendly, professional, and outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with strong follow-up habits.
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, client support, or account management.
- Experience handling quoting, order processing, or sales support in a B2B environment.
