INDUSTRIAL LABOR - ASCENSION PARISH- B733
$14/hr
Our client has asked us to find a hard worker for a short term railroad project. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work. Do you have a valid TWIC? If you have the right experience, attitude and are ready to work - we want you to call us!
What will you be doing?
- Industrial labor
- Changing cross ties
- Setting plates and removing spikes
- Using hand tools and power tools to complete tasks
- Moving materials as needed for projects
- Other duties as assigned
Experience, skills, and qualities that will put you at the top of the list for consideration includes:
- Valid TWIC card required
- Rail specific experience is preferred
- Experience rigging, working with barges, or heavy construction is a plus
- Strong hand-eye coordination
- Able to safely lift 50 lbs or more repeatedly
- Good listening skills and able to follow instructions
- Commitment to safety
- Reliable transportation with a commitment to being at work for all scheduled shifts, and willing to stay until the job is finished
- Drug free
