Wire Rope Rigger – Full Time
Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $18/hour Location: Jefferson, LA
Screenings: 5‑panel drug test & background check required
Dress Code: Work pants, plain T‑shirt, steel‑toe shoes (safety glasses provided)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Wire Rope Rigger with a strong background in warehouse operations and material handling. This role involves pressing wire rope, preparing rigging materials, and supporting operations related to crane‑ready assemblies.
Key Responsibilities

Press, cut, and assemble wire rope using grinders, cutters, and torches

Handle rigging materials used for crane operations

Operate sit‑down forklifts safely and efficiently (no stand‑up or high‑reach equipment required)

Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑focused work environment

Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
Qualifications

Previous experience working with wire rope, rigging, or industrial material handling

Proficiency with grinders, cutters, torches, and related tools

Ability to operate sit‑down forklifts

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Ability to work full‑time, including Saturdays
