Blender / Blending Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate blending equipment (horizontal ribbon blenders, etc.)

• Accurately weigh and add ingredients into blenders per batch ticket/formulas

• Observe blending process and monitor machinery for proper operation

• Follow SOPs, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and sanitation protocols

• Assist with equipment cleaning, maintenance, change‑overs, wash‑downs

• Report defects or equipment issues promptly; escalate as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Basic math literacy and ability to use production rate weights accurately

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lb ingredients/pallets

• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends or third shifts

• Team player with strong attention to safety and detail

• Seeking someone with leadership qualities willing to step up in the role with lots of room for growth

Physical & Environmental Conditions

• Warehouse or production floor setting, climate‑controlled but may involve high noise and dust levels

• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and food‑grade sanitation agents

• Must comply with food safety, sanitation, and environmental regulations

• Standing for long periods; frequent bending, lifting, and walking

Work Schedule & Compensation

• Full‑time 

• 1st shift 6am - 2pm
• 2nd shift 2pm - 10pm
