Job Title: Customer Service & Warehouse Associate
Location: Harvey, LA
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $20.00

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service & Warehouse Associate. This position plays a key role in providing excellent customer service at the front counter while also supporting daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment that involves both administrative and physical tasks.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Answer multi-line phone system and assist callers with professionalism

  • Greet walk-in customers and provide assistance as needed

  • Enter customer orders accurately into the system

  • Accept payments via cash and credit card

  • Reconcile daily cash drawers and prepare bank deposits

  • Handle shipping and receiving, including scanning/accepting barcoded items

  • Stock and organize inventory in both warehouse and showroom

  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently (certification preferred)

  • Assist customers with exchanging or replacing cylinders ranging from 25 lbs to 50lbs

  • Fill propane and CO₂ cylinders safely according to proper procedures

General Team Responsibilities

All team members contribute to the upkeep of the facility as time allows:

  • Clean showroom, kitchen, and bathrooms

  • Maintain outdoor areas, including yard cleanup and grass cutting

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Previous experience in customer service, warehouse, or logistics preferred

  • Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) with proper technique

  • Forklift experience or willingness to obtain certification

  • Basic computer skills for order entry and payment processing

  • Strong attention to detail and time management

  • Positive attitude and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed

Work Schedule

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday

  • Occasional overtime or weekend hours may be required
