Accounting Operations Analyst (Entry-Level)
$20–$22/hour | Government Contractor Environment Kenner, LA
We are seeking an Accounting Operations Analyst to support day-to-day financial and operational accounting functions within a government contracting environment. This is a great opportunity for detail-oriented, Excel-savvy candidates, including veterans, looking to grow their career in accounting and operations.

Responsibilities

Perform bank and account reconciliations

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable
-
Analyze and maintain financial data using Microsoft Excel

Assist with invoice matching tied to purchase orders and contracts
-
Support month-end close and reporting activities
-
Ensure accuracy and compliance in a structured, regulated environment
Requirements
-
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas)

Basic understanding of accounting principles

High attention to detail and accuracy
-
Ability to follow established processes and documentation
Preferred
-
Experience in government contracting, logistics, supply chain, or regulated industries
-
ERP or accounting software experience (NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc.)

Military, veteran, or DoD-adjacent background
