Welder – Manufacturing / Fabrication
Pay: $22–$27/hr DOE
Schedule: Full-time | Day Shift
Employer: Express Employment Professionals (on assignment at a metal fabrication facility)
Express Employment Professionals is hiring experienced Welders for a reputable, high-quality metal fabrication facility serving industrial, marine, and manufacturing clients. This is a hands-on welding role for someone who takes pride in clean welds, precision work, and safety in a production environment.
Job Duties:

Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components

Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols

Fabricate and assemble metal parts and structural components to specification
-
Inspect welds to ensure quality, strength, and proper appearance

Grind, prep, and finish welds as needed
-
Operate shop tools and fabrication equipment safely
-
Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow all safety procedures and production standards
Requirements:
-
Prior welding experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment

Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols

Experience with MIG welding required; TIG a plus

Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

Ability to stand, bend, and lift in a shop environment

Must pass drug screen and background check
