2nd Class Stationary Engineer – Facility Operations
Pay: $25/hr
Schedule: Full-time | Saturday–Wednesday | 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM
Employer: Express Employment Professionals (on assignment at a facility service company)
Express Employment Professionals is seeking 2 experienced 2nd Class Stationary Engineers to support facility operations at a large property in Kenner. This is a night-shift, hands-on maintenance and operations role where licensed engineers keep critical systems running safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Do:
• Safely operate, maintain, and inspect building systems and equipment, including HVAC, generators, motors, plumbing, and control systems
• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical systems
• Conduct daily and weekly inspections and document findings in maintenance tracking systems
• Replace filters, adjust system components, and ensure safe operation of utilities
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and follow facility safety procedures
Requirements:
• Active 2nd Class Stationary Engineer License (required)
• Previous experience as a stationary engineer in a commercial or industrial facility
• Ability to perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs independently
• Capable of climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 50lbs
• Must pass drug screen and background check
