Assistant Manager – Healthcare Staffing
Location: Metairie area Employment Type: Full-Time | Hybrid flexibility available after training
A growing healthcare staffing organization is seeking an Assistant Manager with the aptitude and ambition to grow into the management position over time. This is a fast-paced environment supporting radiology and ancillary healthcare staffing operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Recruiting, interview scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups
- Coordinating schedules for radiology and ancillary healthcare professionals
- Handling client contracts, assignments, and extensions
- Sales and marketing, both in person and on social media
- General HR duties, including onboarding and document collection
- Tracking licenses, certifications, immunizations, and compliance documents
- Maintaining accurate records in compliance with HIPAA and company policies
- Serving as a professional point of contact for healthcare professionals and facility clients
- Customer service and daily operations support
Qualifications:
- HR background, medical terminology experience, medical sales, or insurance experience strongly preferred
- Experience in healthcare staffing, radiology, or medical office environments a plus
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or scheduling software a plus
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
- Desire and capability to advance into a management role
