Job Full Description
A local hotel is seeking a reliable Maintenance Assistant to help with the daily upkeep of the property. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is eager to learn. No certifications or prior maintenance experience are required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the maintenance team with general repairs and property upkeep
- Help with painting and basic maintenance projects
- Move materials, tools, and equipment as needed
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Follow directions from the maintenance supervisor and assist wherever needed
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to take direction and work well as part of a team
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Able to lift, carry, and perform physical tasks throughout the day
