Location: Metairie, LA 70003 (Job sites within a 20-mile radius)
Pay: $18.00 / hour
Shift: Full-time (2-Week Project)
Job Overview
A local contractor is seeking a skilled and versatile Handyman for a two-week project servicing various job sites within 20 miles of Metairie. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience across multiple trade skills and can work independently to complete ongoing site tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Perform basic sheetrock repairs, patching, and finishing work.

Assist with carpentry tasks, including measuring, cutting, and installing trim work.

Prepare surfaces and execute general interior/exterior painting duties.

Handle general repair, installation, and maintenance tasks across various residential or commercial job sites.
Qualifications & Requirements

Proven hands-on experience in carpentry, sheetrock, trim, and painting.

Drug screen (DT) and background check (BG) required.

Must have basic hand tools relevant to trade skills.

Reliable transportation to travel to assigned job sites within a 20-mile radius of Metairie.
