Customer Service Representative
Location: Gretna, LA
Pay Rate: $16.00 / hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30-Minute Lunch)
Job Summary
We are seeking a warm, professional Customer Service Representative for a local business in Gretna. In this front-facing role, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients, answering incoming calls, greeting walk-in visitors, and providing general administrative support. Prior experience in the insurance industry is strongly preferred!
Key Responsibilities

Greet incoming clients and visitors with a friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor.

Manage a high volume of incoming phone calls, answer customer inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate team members.

Assist clients with basic policy information, account inquiries, and documentation.

Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, scanning, and mail distribution.

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area.
Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Previous customer service or front-desk experience required; insurance industry experience is a major plus.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a pleasant phone personality.

Computer Skills: Comfortable using basic office software, email, and customer databases.
