Pay: $18.00–$22
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8-5pm
Location: Shreveport
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable MIG Welder (GMAW) to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have extensive welding experience using hard wire and gas mix, with the ability to read and interpret simple blueprints. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG (GMAW) welding using hard wire and gas mix to assemble and repair metal components

Read and interpret simple blueprints and work orders

Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently

Inspect completed welds for accuracy and quality standards

Use power tools such as grinders, drills, and saws to prepare or finish materials

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow all company safety procedures and wear proper PPE

Take direction from supervisors and work as part of a team
Requirements:

Extensive welding experience required

Proficient in MIG (GMAW) welding with hard wire and gas mix

Ability to read and understand simple blueprints and measurements

Experience with power tools and metal fabrication

Welding certifications a plus but not required

Hardworking, punctual, and safety-minded

Able to take instruction and work independently or as part of a team

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop environment
