Job Full Description
We are seeking an Office Assistant for a health and wellness company in Lexington, MA. The main responsibilities will be to process orders, manage inventory and provide outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process customer orders for health and medical products, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Order products as needed, monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Keep the product storage area clean and organized, including breaking down boxes and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Provide support at the front desk, assisting with customer inquiries, appointment scheduling, and other administrative tasks as required.
- Scan documents and maintain orderly records, ensuring that all transactions and customer interactions are accurately documented.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide product recommendations
- Prepare and package products for shipping, ensuring orders are accurately fulfilled and dispatched in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation and making of custom products, adhering to prescribed recipes and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- At least 2-3 years in a customer service or administrative role
- Previous experience in retail, medical or health industries preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
- Must be comfortable standing throughout the day with some sitting
- Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory management.
The hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30AM-6:30PM. The pay is $24/hr.
