Job Full Description

We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift) for our client, a manufacturing company in Devens, MA. This role is vital to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our production equipment and facility systems.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies; report any safety concerns, incidents, or accidents immediately. Complete required monthly online safety training.

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment and general plant systems.

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and maintain operational efficiency.

  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to complete tasks accurately and on schedule while minimizing material waste.

  • Ensure all plant equipment, especially corrugating machinery, is maintained to meet production and safety standards.

  • Collaborate with the maintenance team on various mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, and fabrication projects.

  • Carry out both corrective and preventive maintenance tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

  • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA and environmental health and safety guidelines.

  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and vendors to ensure smooth operations.

  • Perform additional duties as required.

Required Education & Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant industrial maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of technical training and hands-on experience.

Required:

  • Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial setting.

  • Experience with troubleshooting AC/DC motor controls, PLCs, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and automated machinery.

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.

  • Proficiency in using computers for diagnostics and configuration in a production environment.

  • Knowledge of electrical codes and industrial safety practices.

  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

  • High attention to detail and a strong work ethic focused on safety.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

Pay: $30–$40/hour, depending on experience (DOE)
