Job Full Description
We are seeking a Machine Operator for a manufacturing company in Leominster, MA. This role is responsible for cutting and preparing materials to support production, while ensuring accuracy, safety, and proper inventory tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a band saw to cut metals to specified lengths and tolerances
- Accurately measure materials using a tape measure and other measuring tools
- Handle and maneuver large metal materials
- Safely operate forklifts, hoists, and other lifting equipment
- Issue and track materials using ERP system
- Follow detailed work orders, cutting instructions, and safety protocols
- Perform basic maintenance and daily safety checks on machinery
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable using lifting equipment and handling long, heavy materials
- Forklift certification preferred
Pay Range: $21-$25/hr
Schedule: Mon – Fri 7AM-3:30PM
