Job Full Description
We are actively recruiting for a entry-level lab tech for a manufacturing company in Leominster MA. Responsible for conducting product testing to ensure high-quality production that meets established standards. This role also involves identifying and recommending corrective actions to maintain compliance with customer and company specifications and quality requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Test raw materials and finished goods to ensure quality and accurate content.
- Complete all required testing documentation and paperwork.
- Accurately enter test results into the computer system.
- Monitor machine production to ensure proper operation and quality output.
- Label finished goods for shipment.
- Conduct dispersion testing in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping.
- Package materials for customer-requested samples.
- Safely operate and properly use various tools and equipment.
- Operate a rider-type industrial forklift to pick up, move, place, and position materials (will train/certify).
Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or laboratory experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills and ability to enter data accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures and testing instructions.
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately and maintain organized records.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30–40 lbs as needed.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Willingness to be trained on lab equipment and forklift operation.
