Job Full Description

We are seeking a Delivery Driver for a building materials supplier in Ayer, MA. This role is responsible for safely operating a box truck to deliver building materials, loading and unloading goods, completing delivery paperwork, and providing professional customer service.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Operate a box truck to deliver materials to various locations

  • Load and unload trucks, using a forklift or other equipment as needed

  • Complete delivery paperwork, including manifests and bills of lading

  • Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure the truck is clean and in good working order

  • Communicate with internal staff and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries

  • Provide friendly, efficient service to customers while assisting with product needs and deliveries

  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of delivery driving experience preferably with box trucks

  • Valid Class D driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Current DOT medical card

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

The hours are Mon-Fri 6:30AM until deliveries are complete (4-5PM). The pay is $22-$25/hr depending on experience.
