General Laborer - Carpenter
Location: Lawrence, MA
Position Type: Full Time, Permanent-Evaluation Hire
Pay: $19/hour
Position type: Permanent, Evaluation Hire
Shift: 7am to 4:30pm M-Th 7am – 11:30am on Fridays
Responsibilities of the General Laborer - Carpenter:
- Operate hand and power tools such as drills, saws, grinders, and nail guns
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks
- Load, unload, and move materials
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace
- Perform basic assembly of wood products as needed
Qualifications of the General Laborer - Carpenter:
- Previous experience working with tools in a labor-intensive job
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site
- (Optional) OSHA certification or other relevant training is a plus
