Job Full Description
Job Title: Saw Operator
Location: Billerica MA - Training in Fitchburg
Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Pay Rate: 24 - 25/hr
Responsibilities of the Saw Operator:
- Operating various Saws in a manufacturing setting
- Material processing
- Maneuvering difficult cutting procedures
- Handling frequent bending/stooping and manual dexterity related tasks
- Operating other foam processing machines
- Assembly of final products
Requirements of the Saw Operator:
- 1+ year operating industrial machinery in a manufacturing setting
- Reliable, consistent attendance; able to work assigned shift and required overtime
- Experience operating and maintaining larger format band saws or similar equipment
- Familiarity with packaging materials or soft substrates like foam materials and the cutting capabilities.
- Ability to read basic mechanical drawings/travelers and follow written work instructions
