Position: Facilities Maintenance Technician
Location: Nashua
Pay: $28 per Hour
Hours: 7:30AM to 4:00PM
This is a ~3 month Temporary assignment
Overview of Position
Our client in Nashua is seeking a talented Facilities Maintenance Technician and handyman. The Maintenance Technician will performs general maintenance, cleanliness and repairs of the client property, equipment and grounds. Utilizes several trade skills such as light carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing and heating and cooling. Assists in courier services between client properties. Understands and acts in accordance with safety and regulatory compliance standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventative maintenance, and completes maintenance and repair records, as required.
- Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems, to include plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, and HVAC, and others as may be assigned or as directed by the Facilities Coordinator or Director of Facilities.
- Performs carpentry, furniture assembly, locksmith services, and plumbing tasks as needed or as directed by the Facilities Coordinator.
- Repairs drywall and paints walls as needed or as directed by the Facilities Coordinator.
- Performs landscaping and snow removal duties as needed.
- Performs routine and specialized janitorial duties as needed
- Utilizes electronic work ticket system (FMX) to obtain work orders and log daily activities
- May be required to work evening or weekend hours to complete time-sensitive projects
- Completes preventative maintenance on systems as scheduled and instructed.
- Assists with inter-office mail delivery and coordination of mail and package deliveries as needed.
Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- General knowledge of carpentry and mechanical systems.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
- Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations.
- Strong collaborating skills, and an ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- 2+ years of general maintenance or related experience
- Valid Driver License with good MVR
- Position subject to Background Check, Drug Test, MVR and BEAS
